The M110 Cannon Muzzle Brake screws on to your 1/2-28 tpi THREADED target / bull / .920 / heavy barrel Ruger 10/22 rifle without the need for any special adapter or coupling.  A peel washer (included) may be used to index the brake and barrel thread timing to position the brake horizontally depending on the relative thread timing.

    The M110 Muzzle Brake is specifically designed for easy installation on 1/2-28 tpi threaded Ruger target / bull / .920 barrels. It would be unlikely that it would easily fit on any other firearms unless the barrel was also exactly .920 OD.
  2. Will the M110 Muzzle Brake work with other calibers such as .17 or .22 magnum?
    The M110 Muzzle Brake works with all standard 1/2-28 tpi threaded Ruger 10/22 calibers, in both .22 and .17. For what should be obvious reasons, it will not work on the Ruger .44 magnum carbine due to the larger bullet diameter.
  3. Will the M110 Muzzle Brake work with .223 / 5.56 firearms?
    The M110 Muzzle Brake is only rated for .22LR applications. The lightweight aluminum construction, while ideal for .22LR applications, would not withstand repeated centerfire use. In order to prevent damage to the accessory and possible injury, it should only be used for .22LR applications.
  4. Will the M110 Muzzle Brake work on my Ruger Charger pistol?
    The M110 brake will not work on a Charger pistol since it is not a bull barrel.
  5. Does the M110 Muzzle Brake work as a sound suppressor? Will it make my shooting any quieter?
    The M110 Muzzle Brake does not decrease the sound when the rifle is discharged. A reduction in sound can only be legally accomplished by the use of a sound suppressor which is regulated by ATF. However, since the high pressure gasses are vented to the atmosphere in multiple directions at different intervals, the perceived sound when firing may be less since the noise is now directed in different directions rather than simply straight ahead, which would be the case when firing without the M110 Muzzle Brake installed.
  6. Will the M110 fit any other manufacturer's barrels other than the factory 1/2-28 tpi threaded Ruger target / bull / .920 barrel?
    The M110 Muzzle Brake is specifically designed for easy installation on 1/2-28 tpi threaded Ruger target / bull / .920 barrels from any manufacturer, both Ruger factory as well as aftermarket.
  7. Will the M110 Muzzle Brake change my rifle's accuracy?
    It will not. The bullet does not even know the M110 Muzzle Brake is installed as it flies through it without any contact.
  8. Will I be able to "feel" the additional weight on my barrel?
    You will not be able to tell the difference. The M110 Muzzle Brake is precision machined from aircraft grade aluminum and is so light that it is not perceptible.
  9. What finishes are currently available?
    The M110 Muzzle Brake is available in two finishes to best match and compliment your rifle's finish and accessories. The available finishes are Matte Black and "Stainless" Clear . Both are made from the same aircraft grade aluminum.

    The M110 will function identically regardless of the finish you select.
  11. Will the M110 Muzzle Brake work on taper barrel 10/22 rifles?
    Although the M110 1/2-28 threaded Muzzle Brake will screw on to threaded taper barrels, it will not match the OD of the barrel. It is designed to be used on 1/2-28 tpi threaded 10/22 bull / target / .920 barrels. For taper barrels, we recommend our M22/50 MUZZLE BRAKE.
